Standard of Excellence

The standards of the job classification have been prepared and adopted by the Service Members of the Association of Diesel Specialists in an effort to improve communications and understanding of the industry, particularly between the diesel specialist and the customer.

L&J's Standard Complete Overhaul, Rebuild or Remanufacture (return to new condition)

Complete disassembly of unit and component sub-assemblies.

Thorough cleaning and close inspection of all parts.

Reassembly of these parts to the unit, provided the parts meet with the manufacturer's requirements. Missing, worn out of specifications, or broken parts will be replaced.

All repairs will be done in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's specifications, recommendation and procedures for inspection, assembly and testing.

Test sub-assemblies and complete assembly with the original manufacturer's test and recommendations.

This classification of repair carries the repair station's standard warranty.
